The importance of goal setting

It was until recently that I have began to find out how important goal setting truly is. Something almost magical happens when you declare honestly and firmly that you will do something. There is an internal commitment made that turns into the burning desire that assists in achieving whatever that goal may be.

The entire premise of this blog is based on my personal goal. This blog is simply another extension of the new person I am to become in achieving my goal. The blog in general is designed to assist me in achieving my goal. I believe that it was the decision to become a millionaire before my 30'th birthday that will assist me most in becoming a millionaire, because since I have set my sights on a target, I have means to measure my progress, and a clear definition of what I am seeking to accomplish.

When one focuses introspectively and weighs where they have been and what they are doing, they can begin to formulate an idea of what they want to become. Once this is accomplished your efforts can then begin to focus on one specific goal, thusly allowing you to take the drastic steps necessary to achieve that goal. Once making the goal, you will begin to seek out information of how to obtain that goal. Instead of shooting randomly in the dark, this process allows you to first ready, then aim, and fire.

We are all infinitely intelligent and, within reason, can do anything that has previously been done before us. I am convinced that I can do anything, and I am on a mission to do so. I have clearly defined my focus and purpose, and you are witnessing part of the action being taken to accomplish the goals.

Clearly defined goals + focused action = achievement

It really is that simple.
